Mission Statement

The family and friends of Jamie Cochrane have come together this year to keep Jamie’s memory alive for years to come, by establishing the Jamie Cochrane Memorial Road Race. The proceeds from the race provide scholarships to both Quincy and North Quincy High School students along with providing financial help to charitable organizations and people in need.

Jamie was taken from this world far too early, but during his time here he lived his life helping others. Jamie was a dedicated police officer that younger officers looked to for guidance and leadership. He was caring, tough, dependable, funny, and extremely loyal. Jamie could light a room with his huge smile and he often did. He was a very special person and we all miss him very much.

Because Jamie lived his life helping other people, members of the Jamie Cochrane Committee wish to keep his memory alive through this road race. We would like to thank everyone for their participation and support.
